These terms apply when you use Tholify.com's free QR code generator. Tholify is operated from Morocco. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Tholify lets you generate and download QR codes from information you provide, including links, text, contact details, Wi-Fi information, and event details. The generator is provided free of charge and without an account. QR codes are static: they encode the information you supplied and do not let you change that information after creation. To change the encoded information, create a new code.

You are responsible for checking that the code contains the right information, can be scanned, and leads to content that is available and appropriate. Tholify cannot control the websites, services, networks, or other content a QR code points to.

Your responsibilities

Only submit information and images that you are allowed to use. Do not use the service to create or distribute QR codes for unlawful activity, to violate another person's rights, to deceive or harm others, or to transmit malicious content. You are responsible for the information encoded in codes you create and for how you share them.

Do not encode passwords, private contact details, or other sensitive information unless you understand that anyone who obtains or scans the QR code may be able to access that information.

Files and availability

When you save a generated code, an image file is temporarily stored so it can be downloaded. The site is configured to remove QR-code files older than one hour when its cleanup process runs. Download and keep a copy you need; Tholify does not promise that generated files will remain available.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service or any feature. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free generation, compatibility with every scanner, or that a third-party destination will continue to work.

Ownership and permitted use

You retain responsibility for and rights to the information and images you provide. You permit Tholify to process them as needed to generate and deliver the QR code you request. You may use the generated code for lawful personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms and any rights in material you include.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided free of charge and on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tholify makes no guarantees about the service's suitability for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy or continued availability of third-party content linked by a QR code.

To the extent permitted by law, Tholify is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or from content encoded in or reached through a QR code. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Changes and governing law

We may revise these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The updated terms will appear on this page with a revised date. These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, subject to any mandatory laws or consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
